Now a regular on the events schedule since debuting back in 2018 as part of the venue’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, the two-day meeting brings legendary machines and racers to the fastest race circuit in the UK for an adrenaline rush like no other. Motor Racing Legends are relishing the fourth edition of this fantastic event which combines a thrilling racing experience with a relaxed, old school ‘clubby’ feel race meeting.
That said, the competitor experience is in no way diminished with first class Motor Racing Legends hospitality available and motorhome parking. Thruxton is the fastest circuit in the country so if you haven’t raced here, you would be remiss to miss out on a rare opportunity to race on this thrilling and challenging track.
Motor Racing Legends welcomes four series from its equipe including 1950s Sports Cars and Sports Racing cars for the Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy & Stirling Moss Trophy for a one-hour, two driver battle.
Pre ’63 GT enjoys its first stand-alone race of the year, these Grand Tourers are particularly suited to this fast flowing circuit which is an hour long.
Historic Touring Cars just love Thruxton and they will be in action twice with a forty minute race each day with a huge grid of cars representing four series – the Historic Touring Car Challenge, Tony Dron Trophy, Sixties Touring Car Challenge and U2TC.
The Jaguar Classic Challenge returns to Thruxton Historic for an hour long race.
Also on the bill are the HRDC Jack Sears Trophy and HRDC Dunlop Allstars. A real coup will be the Jochen Rindt Trophy which will be a celebration of single-seat race cars from the 60’s 70’s & 80’s. Early Formula 2, Historic and Classic F3’s, Formula Atlantic, and Formula Ford 2000 are all expected to feature.
Away from the racing, there will be a host of family friendly activities including car displays, demonstrations, circuit rides, live entertainment, camping, trade village and much more plus Land Rover Legends makes a welcome return! After a false start in 2020, the Land Rover Legends team are excited to announce a return for 2021.
Land Rover Legends is the ultimate show for Land Rover enthusiasts, showcasing the very best examples of the marque, including several rare and unusual vehicles from the Dunsfold Collection, a founding partner of the event. The 2021 edition includes unique feature displays, the leading Land Rover clubs, the National Land Rover Awards, an exclusive Land Rover parade on the race circuit, specialist exhibitors and traders –and an unmatched atmosphere from the Thruxton Historic race meeting.
Land Rover Legends tickets will also be valid for entry into the Thruxton Historic (Thruxton Historic tickets are also valid for entry into Land Rover Legends), providing even more entertainment for enthusiasts and the whole family.
