An event shrouded in myth and legend – the Spa Six Hours meeting is La Grande Dame of Historic Racing, and Motor Racing Legends is very proud to have been supporting the event every year since 2004.
The circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, located deep in the heart of the Belgium Ardennes forest, is the stuff of legend. Evidence of the ‘old circuit’ is still easily traceable and the modern configuration is one of the most exhilarating in Europe. The event boasts such a wide a varied programme that the atmosphere in the paddock is worth the trip alone – from historic Formula One to the focus of the weekend, the legendary Six Hour race on the Saturday night.
Motor Racing Legends will have three grids on the programme in 2022. The Pre-War Sports Cars are being afforded the prime slot immediately before the start of the Six Hours race – a privileged opportunity. The Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy and Stirling Moss Trophy combined grid will also return for a one-hour race.
And after supporting the event in 2021 with a last-minute agreement to bring our Touring Cars to Spa, we are delighted to have secured a double-header grid for a full Historic Touring Car Challenge, Tony Dron Trophy, U2TC and Sixties Touring Car Challenge race.
We are indeed fortunate to continue to be supporting this ‘holy grail’ of motor racing events.
