It’s Now Time To Enter For The
Ultimate Racing Challenge of the Season

30th September – 2nd October

The Spa Six Hours Meeting – one of the ultimate race experiences in the historic arena.  Motor Racing Legends gives you the chance to be on the grid and relish the atmosphere and spirit of this very special venue deep in the Belgium Ardennes forest.

This year Motor Racing Legends hosts three races over the weekend;

Pre-War Sports Cars (including a class for specials) 40 minute race + 30 minute qualifying

The Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy and Stirling Moss Trophy for 1950s Sports Cars 61 minute race + 30 minute qualifying

Historic Touring Car Challenge incorporating Tony Dron Trophy, U2TC and STCC 2 x 30 minute races + 30 minute qualifying

Regarded as the ultimate challenge for driver and machine, who wouldn’t want to drive through Eau Rouge ‘flat chat’?  Since last year, there have been several safety improvements at the circuit with new run-off areas at Radillion and Blanchimont.

For those travelling from UK, all COVID 19 restrictions have been lifted.  Vincent Collard and his team at Spa have really missed the British racers and are looking forward to giving you a very warm welcome.

The Motor Racing Legends programme at this year’s Spa Six Hours Meeting kicks with the Historic Touring Car Challenge.  Open to cars running in the HTCC, Tony Dron Trophy plus U2TC and STCC, the 1960s under 2 litre cars will benefit from a 20 second split start from the faster cars. There will be two 30-minute races with a pit-stop, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.  A good number of our European drivers will be joining us with their Escorts, Capri and BMW M3, CSL and 2002.  They will join a good number of Capri (RS 2600 and Mk 2 3 litre), Mk 1 Escorts (RS 1600), Austin Mini Cooper, Lotus Cortina, Nissan Skyline and Ford Sierra RS500.

The Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy and Stirling Moss Trophy have already attracted a strong commitment from Continental and UK racers.  Aston Martin DB2, Connaught ALSR, Lotus X and Jaguar C type from the Woodcote Trophy join Lister Knobblys, Lotus XV, X1, Cooper Bobtail and Lola Mk 1. We can run a large grid at this meeting so don’t miss your opportunity to be part of this stellar race.

As ever, the Pre-War Sports Car grid features plucky Brits, some of whom will actually drive their cars to Belgium to race against a glittering line-up of some of the Continent’s finest Pre-War racing machines.  Bentley, Riley, Bugatti, Morgan, Alta, Aston Martin and Talbot make the trip from the UK to join Alfa Romeo, Mercedes and Delage. It’s a 45-minute race with a pit stop, open to two drivers if you so choose. Don’t miss this last chance to race your Pre-War car this season.
