The count down to the first major Historic Race Meeting on UK home soil is on. In less than two months’ time, the Donington Historic Festival will be welcoming thirteen of Europe’s finest grids and hundreds of competing cars to the legendary Donington tarmac on Friday 1 May – Sunday 3 May. For the first and only time this year all seven Motor Racing Legends’ series will feature on the programme; and will of course be the first motorsport event for members of our new Motor Racing Legends Club. It’s time to secure your place on the grid!

Donington Historic Festival 2020 Timetable Now Live
The timetable for the Donington Historic Festival is now live and can be found HERE.
A fantastic bill of races includes the new Sixties Touring Car Challenge with U2TC for 1960s under 2 litre Touring Cars which will feature two 40-minute ‘double-header’ races across Friday and Saturday afternoons. Saturday will also include the ‘Mad-Jack’ for Pre-war Sports-Cars, and the one-hour Stirling Moss Trophy. Sunday boasts another full day including the RAC Woodcote Trophy, Pre ’63 GT and the Historic Touring Car Challenge with Tony Dron Trophy from the Motor Racing legends stable. Qualifying for our grids will, as ever, be held on Friday.
The meeting will also feature grids for the HRDC, Jaguar Classic Challenge, Formula Junior and a special grid dedicated to Formula Atlantic – those hairy, noisy single-seaters from the Seventies and early ‘80s. And the Saturday concludes with the spectacular GT & Sports Car Cup two-hour endurance into the dusk.

There will be two sales, one on Friday 1 May followed by a second Saturday 2 May. Both will feature a selection of best-of-breed classic cars and a series of Porsches representing the annual Porsche Sale in association with Porsche Club GB. For further details click here.
Donington Historic Festival Is More Than Just Racing
The opportunity to race on the historical 1.97 mile Donington Park National circuit is reason to be there alone, but don’t forget this meeting is supplemented with demonstrations and displays and a Friday evening Drivers’ Party in Garage 39 by the generous invitation of circuit operators, Motor Sport Vision.
