Stand B30 in Speed Street, Hall 2
We look forward to welcoming you all to the Motor Racing Legends stand at Race Retro, the International Historic Motorsport Show at Stoneleigh, from 14th to 16th March.
Our stand – B30 in Hall 2 – should be easy to spot. Not only is it in the main ‘Speed Street’ thoroughfare, but we will be displaying a fabulous 1957 ex-Works Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, kindly loaned to us by Fiskens, the renowned historic automobile dealership. This car, chassis 0716TR, was factory-entered in the Buenos Aires 1000Km on 26 January 1958, driven by Luigi Musso and Olivier Gendebien.
Restored by Neil Twyman Racing Ltd, 0716TR is as close as possible to the original factory configuration and finish. Fiskens supplied the car to its current owner a few years ago and – if you were thinking what an ideal entry it would make for the 2008 BRDC Historic Sportscars, now run by Motor Racing Legends – it is sadly not for sale.
As well as the BRDC Historic Sportscars, we look forward to talking to you about the 2008 Royal Automobile Woodcote Trophy, the Motor Racing Legends Pre-War Sports Car Series and, of course, Le Mans – where, on 14th June, we will be presenting a fabulous grid of cars from the Group C era as our traditional historic curtain-raiser to the main 24 Hours race.
